European agents discuss actions and opportunities for 2023

Yamaha Robotics Factory Automation section has met with its European sales agents at the branch headquarters in Neuss, Germany, February 14-15, to review performance and energise the network for 2023.

Opening the meeting, Shinji Kuroda and Yuko Kato from Yamaha Motor Company Robotics Operations in Japan described the global market position and general scale of the opportunities.

Businesses in sectors as diverse as manufacturing, logistics, textiles, and food production are automating with industrial robots to increase productivity. Yamaha and its agents work with system integrators and end users to create solutions that are more affordable, flexible, and scalable than conventional factory automation.

Jumpei Ninomiya, Sales Manager for Yamaha’s FA business in Europe, delivered his analysis of the local market, and presented Yamaha’s strategy for the region. “We have strengthened our team this year, bringing on-board extra skills and increasing our capacity to drive new programs and collaborate extensively with system integrators,” he explained.

Bringing the group together, Jumpei Ninomiya and German branch manager Yasushi Miyake presented the annual awards that celebrate the most outstanding performances. Roberto Facchinetti, sales agent for Italy, received the Special Contribution Award on behalf of his company, A.T.T.I srl. Ms Chiyo Kubota for Seika Sangyo GmbH, agent for Germany, received the 2022 Sales Achievement Award. Aitor Fernandez of Robotplus received the Top Service Award for the company’s success in building customer satisfaction in the Spanish market.

Acknowledging the contribution of the entire network towards the strong performances in 2022, branch manager Yasushi Miyake said, “The market for industrial robots continues to grow healthily and the range of opportunities is expanding. We have chosen to work with agents that are well regarded in their territories and we are sure their commitment will continue to deliver excellent results in the future.”
